Don't forget to sign up for our Adult Summer Reading Challenge on the Beanstack app! Children can be signed up for the Youth Summer Reading Challenge on the Beanstack app as well. Follow Miami Public Library Youth Department to stay up to date on children's programming. Don't have a library card? You can get one for FREE if you live, work, or go to school in Ottawa County, OK. Just bring in your ID and address verification such as a piece of mail. Patrons from surrounding counties can sign up for $20/year. A library card allows you to borrow thousands of physical materials such as Books, DVDs & DVD Players, Learning Tablets, Board Games, Fitness Equipment, and more! Miami Public Library receives Health Literacy Grant The library recently received a $9,000 Health Literacy grant.  The funds, provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL), will be used to provide health education through such events as diabetes classes, yoga classes, and some healthy cooking demonstrations.  It will also provide for needs in the Community Garden and…
