This Pride Month, read beyond the binary with LGBTQIA+ reads. A selection of books are available on Libby- the library reading app and at Miami Public Library. The federal government first recognized June as “Gay & Lesbian Pride Month” in 1999, following a proclamation by President Bill Clinton. Subsequently, in 2009, President Barack Obama officially designated June as LGBT Pride Month.
